TD Names New Executive Officer

FEB 5, 2014 - TD Service Financial Corporation today announced that Robert Phelps has been named as the new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the California-based company, effective immediately.

Phelps - who serves as the current Chief Information Officer (CIO) – joined TD Service Financial Corporation in January of 2013, and has been a key proponent of the independent trustee’s focus on technology and expansion into new business areas. Phelps played a major role in TD’s recent launch of quality control services through the company’s acquisition of technology assets from California based IMARC, Inc, and currently oversees the technology and information infrastructure of the company.

Sandi Dykema, the firm’s current President and COO, will become TD Service Financial Corporation’s new Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dale Dykema, the company’s original founder and CEO, will remain as TD’s Chairman of the Board. Dale Dykema founded TD Service Company in 1964, and celebrated 50 years of business in the mortgage industry this year. Well known for his philanthropic and political work, Dykema has been a longtime voice for the mortgage industry.

Robert Phelps brings more than 25 years of experience to the mortgage industry, with expertise in both finance and technology. Phelps is a frequent guest speaker at industry events and conferences and is considered an authority in the streamlining and implementation of industry technology, security, and process re-engineering. Phelps attended Irvine Valley College and Brigham Young University, majoring in Information Technology with a focus on security and networking.
